About the Doctor

Dr Shabana Taleb graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, Gauteng in 2001 as a General Practitioner (MBBCh).
She is married to a training Neuro-Surgeon (Dr Fazleh Taleb) and has two children.
Internship and Community Service was completed in Kuruman and Kimberley with good hands on exposure to Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Adult (Internal) Medicine, Orthopaedics and Family Practice (Medicine). She has been in the field of family practice for about 5yrs.
She currently runs monthly CPD accredited infant nutrition and breastfeeding workshops. These meetings are attended by doctors and other health professionals, and mothers.
Dr Taleb is a fun-loving person, approachable and easy to communicate with. You may choose to speak to her in English, Afrikaans, Tshivenda, Urdu or Mauritian Crẽole. |
